Nothing quite like that feeling you get when you see a species in the wild for the first time. Kind of a "what the ...? No f....ing way!" At least, that's what goes through my mind every time I find a new species or find a species outside of the expected range. I live about 20 miles outside of the southeastern boundary of the range of the eastern milk and spend at least one day a month searching for them in the Appalachain Mtns. Can't wait for that feeling when I see the first one...

Thanks for sharing...beautiful snake. Hard to find a live one. I see several dor's in NC, but only find a live one every five years or so.
