Nice clutch! I noticed you don't really use a formal "nest box" that provides a dark and humid nesting area...do you always let your females lay in the pine shavings? Have you had problems in the past with egg bound females?
actually I use a nest box in every cage. The two females that laid yesterday laid under there boxes.

Its funny that we give our snakes what we think is a great site to lay and some females have other ideas and drop them in the dryest of places.
i use nest tubs now, iv had some females in the past egg bound due to not wanting to use a nest box and retaining as a result.
after the pre slough i move them into tubs that are filled with sphagnum moss and moist peat, the tubs have much more vent holes to counter act the high humidity a bit. i dont get any problems and the females seem much more settled/relaxed with choosing where to lay.
Stunning female by the way shannon, well done with the nice clutch.

For the hell of it i tried a pinky, now im an addict and eat at least 5 a week. Its strange but when you get used to them they taste like eggs.

Thanks Cole,
Nope, I had 2.3 at one time but that was back in the late 90s.
