O/T Baby!

waspinator421 May 18, 2007 10:01 PM

About an hour ago I checked on my incubator, and this little face was looking at me!

In this last picture, it appears as though he/she is a Star Trek fan. Almost has that hand sign going on. LOL!

What I found interesting was that the egg remaining in the deli cup is actually a dud. What is weird is that it never went "bad" so to speak. When candling it, there is nothing in there, not even redness. But it never shriveled and never got moldy. Anyone else have this happen?

Here is mama, Gimp. She has a few toe-tips missing from her previous owner... not enough humidity.

And here is papa, Booger.

I love this time of year!

He is cute, I used to love to watch my leporad gecko's hatch. I haven't had any in the past few years but they are awesome pets.

...how cute. Baby Leos are adorable. Congratulations. What else do you have in the incubator?

Thanks Ken! All that is in there right now is another leo egg that is looking good. Shadow, one of my Nelson's Milks is due to lay any day now, and it feels like she has about 8 or 9 eggs in her. I also have 2 other gravid Cal Kings, but they haven't had their pre-lay shed yet. One of them is looking HUGE! Incubator should be full in no time.

Thanks Michelle. They really do make awesome pets. I remember I sold one of my baby leos to this little boy a few years ago. His mom gave him $25 for his first communion, and said he could spend it on whatever he wanted. He wanted a gecko! It was so adorable, he loved that little lizard!
