THIS IS A GREAT VICTORY FOR ALL OF US!!! HB 1309 failed to pass in the Natural Resources Committee of the Senate.

On behalf of the Texas Reptile Breeders Association, we want to thank all of you who helped us fight this legislation.

We will be celebrating in SAN ANTONIO on June 9-10.

Well, for some reason it seems it went back to committee and this time it PASSED! It has now been sent to the Senate.

I hope the Senate runs out of time on this bill. They have 6 days till adjournment sine die on Monday. The Senate still has all the education financing to get done. I sure hope this bill gets swept under the rug until next session.

Wildlife is disappearing all over the world, and these lawmakers are paranoid about snake breeders taking over the US?

They should pay more attention to the environment and not worry about reptile breeders polluting this planet............

This bill is on the Senates calendar for today as a second reading. If they breeze through all the bills like they have been we'll be in trouble. It is looking grim at this point.
