Long Time no Post

RMCADguy May 19, 2007 01:54 PM

Hello everyone, it has been a long time away, but I have found some time to come back and post a couple of pics of some of my stuff.
College and my girlfriend take up a lot of time, but, I have managed to hang on to a select few animals, mostly uros and a few geckos.
I was never frequent enough to make friends in this forum, but I hope that can change now that the summer semester has started for me. I have long classes where I can be on the computer alot. So, you guys will be seeing me around. Here are some pictures.

Male Sudanese, the female he is with is getting ready to lay eggs.

Hi, and welcome back! Your Sudanese is very handsome - they're such a gorgeous species!

And are you dead sure this is a male Saharan? From the face shape and coloring, it looks very female to me. Yours is more colorful, but it looks very much like my female:

My male has much heavier jowls and black and orange under the chin and belly.

Yeah but he is very young, still only about 6 inches long, and he is gaining belly color, so I still think hes a male, but, who knows, as he gets larger it could turn out he's a female.lol.

Thanks for the reply, I really love the Sudanese as well, my favorites aside from Moroccans and Egyptians. I actually think they are more attractive than the Ornates, but thats just because I like bright but subtle colors rather than the overly obnoxious bright displays, but still like the ornates either way.lol.

Ah - both my Saharans were adults when they came to me. I never saw the development into adulthood. In either case, it's a nice lizard - nice color!

Thank you, I am doing very well in school and have gained the opportunity to support myself working in Illustration, which is what I am in school for. It gives me a lot more time to work with my lizards so I am happy. I have always admired your animals, and I will soon post pictures of my Egyptians and my Moroccan.

thanks again.
