How Embarassing!

Is a male ready to start breeding when he starts doing this? He's almost a year old and is really healthy as far as I can tell. This is the first time I've seen him do this... I feel dirty for taking pictures :P

He is the right age to start breeding, it really depends on how big he is compared to the females. The females need to be a specific size and age before mating (35g best, 14 months I think in age).
So if you have appropriately sized females and he is about the same size as well, and you want to breed crested geckos, you can put him in with a female or two. If you really don't want to breed or only want to do it later, then keep him alone. He doesn't have to breed.

Oh he's just testing his equipment. I think that they all do that. It's just that we rarely catch them doing it.
