Bearded Dragon Not Eating

sunflowerdragons May 20, 2007 12:03 PM

Because of all the hectic that happened at my house last night, I forgot to feed my bearded dragon. It was too late at night to feed her when I remembered. Today, I tried to feed her, but she wouldn't eat the crickets. She hadn't touched her veggies either. Is this because she is not used to eating this early in the morning? Or maybe she is still warming up? I usually feed her at about 4:00 every day.

If she just woke up that is probably why she didn't touch her crickets or greens. Dragons should bask for about an hour before being fed, if possible. I would just wait till your normal feeding time and feed her then. One missed meal won't harm your dragon at all, especially if she is nearly full grown.
