Constriction?

throneofdecay May 20, 2007 04:16 PM

I've been wondering a bit about my 10" Corn. It seems it doesn't feel the necessity to constrict the fuzzies I've been feeding him every week. He just swallows them kicking and screaming. Now, I realize this is probably not uncommon. I'm simply curious as to when the natural instinct to constrict and kill its prey will kick in? I'm hoping it's not going to try and simply swallow teeth-savy mice and rats. Well I guess it matters little since I'm planning on trying to get it used to eating pre-killed food.

#1 Get him on f/t or pre-killed.

#2 He will start constricting when the prey can fight back. Why waste energy? Do you chew your mashed potatoes?

it's normal not to constrict pinks/fuzzy mice.. don't worry he will constrict when he needs to..
