tgp May 20, 2007 05:15 PM

I have a rescue garter from a garage next door. It seems to be a checkered garter neonate. About 5-6" long and double the thickness of a match stick. Ive tryed offering nightcrawler parts and live red worms also feeder guppie no interest in any of that. Any suggestions?

Thanks Tom

If this is a new wild caught snake, it could take a week or 2 for them to acclimate to captivity. Put a couple feeder guppies or rosies in a water bowl and leave them. The snake will take them when it get used to captivity and gets hungry.
