I've decided to start breeding my own mice to make things easier and cheaper. I had a trio until today when one was about to expire so I took her out. I took the other two out, cleaned and disenfected everything and I currently have them in another container.
My question is this: I'm planning to buy a couple more females tomorrow. That's why I haven't put the other two back in the tank yet. I thought it would be better to introduce the new ones and the old ones to the tank at the same time. I also have a very young mouse that a stubborn ball python hatchling has refused to eat. She's just a weanling. I'm wondering if the other mice would kill her if I tried to keep her as a breeder? She's survived the pythons and learned to eat and drink food under my wife's careful watch. It almost seems a shame to use her as a feeder now.
So, will the older mice kill her?
