Here's one of Sami's (female aquaflame and Kiowa's) eggs begining to hatch. Kelly had asked to see it since she is awaiting hers for the first time I made it HUGE, hehehee, so you can see it well.

I had already thought about you early this morning and took some pics, I have to go out to work for a few hours, but will get more pics as the egg progresses.

Notice the egg starting to dent / cave in on each side, also you can see where the shell is so thin you are begining to see a darker color , hopefully his little back

Sami and Kiowa Aquaflames, about to be parents

Not alot of change, more caving in has occured, bit thinner near the end of egg. Ya need much patience as time seems to drag on and on, but just so you know this can be normal.
Sometimes this can last a couple days............ ahhhhhhhhhh and sometimes hours.

We will have to see WHO comes out soon, hehehehehe !

Thanks for sharing the photos. I believe the eggs we are incubating are 40 days today. We lost the egg that was laid in the water over the weekend but I still have 4 eggs left. I look forward to seeing them hatch. Your photos are very helpful.

Except the early stages of life, lol. Thanks for posting these, I know I'm a pain, but do you think you might be able to post a picture in a day or two if it hasnt hatched? This is fascinating, and so much better than watching my own, lol

We are now at day 36 with the first clutch, and so hopefully in a week or two Mlove and I can get through the collapsing and colour changing without completely losing our marbles, lol

Thanks Eve !!!

Spent the evening at Maagischt (sp??) Pretty nice pubs and "coffee shops." I really wanted to try some "coffee" but having some beers with the CEO seemed more appropriate. I am now back in my hotel 2:00 am (I think) and have to be up for work/meetings in a few hours.

Eve...thanks for posting those pictures. I hope my leopard gecko eggs do OK while I am away. Spice is about to lay again. She will likely lay them on dry sand when I'm gone...sucks how bad my timing for trips has been.

I never even thought of that, Peter lives in Holland about 30 minutes out of the Hook of Holland ferry port, and Robert lives about 4 miles outside of Hamm in north Germany. God I'm such a nerd !!

And John, don't listen to Eve, you enjoy the coffee whilst its legal Just remember it's probably not a good idea to drink it around your exec pals, lol

worth experiencing, I'm not in the habit of it, but where its legal, it's not harmful on the very odd occasion, lol.
