First Brian sharp sunglow born in Europe

chondro55 May 21, 2007 03:52 PM

Hi,

Today a litter of albino x 50het. dh sunglow was born.
The Dh proved out to be a 100% DH.
There is at least one sharp sunglow in the litter.
Which I believe is the first one produced in europe.
But still I have a hard time telling if there are more.
I thought it would be more easy.

Will post pictures after there first shed.

Congratulations Danny! The Sharps are catching on faster in some places than others, but the opportunities are endless! Cant wait to see pictures of them!

It was a great day for boas!

Hey Danny, a big congrats for proving him out and thumbs up for the resulting sunglow ! Just for the sake of truth, I'd like to point out that I had a sharp sunglow litter already produced last season here in Italy.

Take care, Clay.

Hi Kevin,

Yes I was very surprised because the 50% Dh sunglow was only for a few days with this female.
The other male was the super salmon male that I have.
So I expected that one to be the father.

Some animals still have to gain collor.
At least one sunglow is in there and 2 possible sunglows, but have not figured this out yet.
One of these animals is not completly developed and almost has no color at this moment. It is doing ok ... so I hope it will make it and when it will gain color I will see if it is a sunglow or not.
The Dhs and sunglow in this litter do not have very big blotches on the tail. This makes it rather difficult to distinguish the albinos from the sunglows.
Ofcourse I will keep you posted.
