Well I can't give you a real answer to that question and since someone told you that and your asking the question I guess my only question would be, and please donot take this as sarcasm, but would you really want to even if it was true?? In my opinion flipping your dragon over for any reason other than to inspect for health issues or sexing that it would cause maybe a lil undue stress...Anyone else feel the same?

Yup, I feel the same way. Beardies don't thrash around when you flip 'em over because they like it. Mine hates it so much that when I check him for vent or skin problems, I have to hold him over my head and support his front and rear legs like I'm changing the oil or something. The vet can get him to flip over, I have no idea how though (I think he likes her though...)

I don't know what exactly it does to them but you can take just about any lizard-like animal, lay it on its back and hold it 'till it quits squirming (a few seconds), gently stroke their belly a few times, starting from the throat down to the vent, and they seemingly relax, as if falling to sleep.
I haven't tried it with my beardie (just haven't thought about trying it), but I used to anoles when I was a kid and I've done many baby gators and even a few in the 3 - 4 foot long range. Worked every time.
They'll only stay on their backs for several seconds. You can rub their belly the other direction, from vent to throat, and they'll immediately turn over, as if waking them up.
Is it safe? I don't see any reason that it wouldn't be. I wouldn't go makin' a habit of it, though. Stressful? I doubt that its anywhere near as stressful as its first few days in your posession, or when you give it a new home/cage, but yeah, it could be a little stressful for it. That could largely depend on the relationship you have with your dragon. Mine will let you do just about anything you want to with it.

It is said that 1 out of every 4 people are mentally unbalanced. Think of your 3 closest friends, if they're normal, then it's you.
