Hi, I'm considering getting a hatchling/very young (two feet or so) reticulated python in a while (at least a few months).
Assuming it's a female, what range of sizes is normal for
a) one year later
b) two years later
c) six years later
d) final length

If possible, I'd like a range for each, where the low number is if it's kept on the cool side, on the less-food side, and it's statistically just a smaller-than-average specimen; the attributes of the high number are the opposites.

So, estimates, anyone?

thanks

if feeding normal like it should and not trying to stunt the growth

year 1, 9ft
year 2, 15ft
full grown, somewhere around or over 20ft

i have a normal feeding male that is 10 months old and almost 7 feet so judge by that

That was correct for the most part but the final length. Most retic's don't go over 18 feet. It's a simple fact. Most stay around 16-18.

well i know of at least three that are over 20 and the word record right now is a retic that measured in at 33 ft and 395 lbs so yes they do get over 20 ft

1 in maybe 500 hit over 20 feet. The largest retic in captivity is under 25 feet and the Fluffy's are a few of Bob Clarks hundreds if not thousands of snakes.

HELLO
What do you mean with normal feeding? I mean how much and how often do you feed that male retic.
THANKS
