That is a good question. i bought him as an 03 but i dont buy it, because he came in the size of an 05, he is supposidly evelyns full blood brother, i am guessing he is an 04-05, or just wicked neglected and brumated for 36 months right at birth, for the size he came in as, i was told he was a sensitive feeder, but he is my most viscious eater in the bunch

He definitely looks like LMT2003E02 male to me Adam. Did I send you both pics I have of him? Every detail matches up.

Finicky feeders can stay that small if they only eat enough to survive. Sometimes shipping and a change of atmosphere, change of husbandry styles, feeding techniques, overall better attention in general can work wonders and jump-start one like that. When it happens you can be amazed at how quickly it will play catch-up and develop into an otherwise very normal adult.

Sounds to me like you are the one doing something right for that guy and it speaks well for your husbandry!

Well thanks for the compliment Mike, i do everything in my power to make sure my snakes are happy and healthy, and yes i am confident too that it is that snake. it just doesnt make sense he could be that small(atleast i have never seen it before), now he is over 24 inches, and slamming hoppers like its his last one. i have only had him about 8 months i think and he has quadroupled in size, no joke, he eats like a champ, always has a perfect shed, he is unstopable. he does like to musk sometimes though but i can look past that. but either way an allaround great snake.

He is beautiful, just curious how often are you feeding him? I have a slow feeder here that is starting to pick up and I am wondering just how often i should feed him. I normally don't feed but once every 7 to 10 days. Except during breeding season in which I up their feedings.
I am always afraid to over feed.

Hey Michelle, i feed about every 7 days, sundays and mondays are my days off, so i usually feed on those days depending on what i have planned for the days so about every 7-8 days, occasionally we will have a litter of rats at the store from an albino feeder, so i will freeze the babies and give the snakes a treat that night, but usually 7-8 days. hope that helps

That is about what i am doing here now, I had a few that i got in that were small so I was thinking of bumping them up but was just unsure of what would be to much. I just don't want them to get to big to fast.
