Adam,

Very nice sunset photo of Battery Park, Vermont! Back in the early 80's I used to work teaching riflery at a summer camp up there just outside of Mallet's Bay...the Water Works in Winooski was an excellent place to go after work!

And a Ben & Jerries was a great treat to take the kids on a "field trip"...

Thanks again...
Jim.

Adam,

Yeah. I remember that it was very beautiful up there during the summer. I remember having some great Pike fishing from the rocks on my time off...not quite the fight as a Barracuda in the Gulf but, a good fight none the less! It took me some time to "learn" how to fish them (and some tackle) but, it was worth it!

Vermont was a very clean state with excellent scenic beauty for hiking and camping. I also remember that when you got hot during the day that a "quick" jump into Lake Champlain was a "BREATH TAKING" experience in that 60(+/-) deg F water in August! Whew! But not much in the way of herps...bummer!

We also used to take the kids on overnight camping trips to Valcour Island...great place to watch the stars at night without the ambient light from the city...

Later,
Jim.

Gimme my tent, gear and a mountainbike or two and I could beat around the bush for weeks out there.

Awesome pic Adam. Makes me want to take a pic of the sunset on the Mississippi river. It's a beautiful sight.

I have never been to Vermont, but from the pictures it looks to be a beautiful place to live.
