whats best for cuts

my female has cut a small amount of her tail of dunno how but she has. iv put her on paper towels whats best to use to stop it gettin infected and is it normal to lose a fair bit of blood from somethin like this i live in the uk btw.

In the UK you can get an iodine solution from the chemist for about £1 or you can buy the exact same stuff from the reptile shop with a pic of a lizard on the front at £6.50.

thanks my bf picked me some stuff up today, he works next door to a reptile specalist shop (good for me n he pays he he) hope it works. is there anythin else i can do to stop it gettin infected?

You should always have povidone iodine solution on hand(thats the generic name (much cheaper) the original product is Betadine. Wonderful for soaking any wound /infection/ even burns on reptiles.

Also hydrogine Peroxide works to clean out a wound/cut

I don't know if they have this in the UK but neosporin works good on healing cuts. Good luck!
