Wow, I can't imagine feeding that many large Egyptians. Boulder alone eats a "bunch" of greens every day. Now that I'm taking care of an Iguana and my 10 Bearded Dragons it's quite a chore chopping greens but 5 large egyptians I'm sure tops what I have to do.
I've been trying to get my lizards outside as well with the weather as it's been. Boulder absolutely loves being outside but I don't have a cage large enough for him so he usually only gets out an hour at a time. My yard is fenced so I can put him outside and watch him from the window in my room but after an hour he really heats up and starts trying to explore everywhere so I generally bring him back in.
I'm not sure what's going on with Oscar...that's really strange. My only experience with "strange" behavior came when Boulder was in mating season but he was not agressive in the normal sense. He would just headbob a lot and sometimes try to "grab" your arm or sleeve with his mouth but it was much different than a bite. It's kind of hard to explain, not sure if you know what I mean. It could simply be something to do with sexual maturity. I know many other people with Egyptians say they can be agressive.
Nebu is really starting to worry me. He has not gained weight since may and has only gained 15 grams ( from 15 to 30) since I bought him last december! He his mixed greens well and got a clean fecal a few months back but I may have him checked again. I'm also planning on giving him a product called "worm guard" which is very similar to parazap in ingredients. I stayed away from insects before but in the last couple weeks I have given him a few crickets to try and get him gaining some weight. Do you feed insects to your Egyptians? He seems healthy and alert...I'll recheck my rechecked temperatures, possible getting another light to raise the ambient on the coolside. Any thoughts on the issue would be much appreciated.
Glad your animals are doing well. Keep my updated if your planning on breeding, I am quite interested on how that goes for you.
