Thank God for power......

After lasts nights power outtage I almost felt amish...Was forced to go for a walk...use candles for light....break out the trusty flashlight and took a shower with freezing cold water! YIKES!....The thing that kept creeping up in my mind was what if I had a dragon and I had no power for almost 12 hrs.....

my father was in the power outage in ontario canada, i think a dragon woudl have been fine, just no feeding unless you had good warm sunny weather to take them out in, 12 hours would have been a breeze for a dragon, like a rainy day in austrailia

I agree with Reiko. My dragon fared well for not having power between 4pm to 6am though it did screw up my timer. I decided to unplug the timer for the night just in case the power came on in the middle of the night. Last thing I wanted was all the lights to come on at 3 am for a couple hours then go out again at 8am till I got up to fix it. Since it has been very hot around here for the week, night time temps haven't dropped below 70 F and in the daytime it is around 86 F. I already planned to take my dragon out in the sun if power wasn't on when I woke up so it would have sufficient heat and sun to digest it's meal.

Anyone else in OHIO?

Felt like the amish...LOL. I was out of power for 12 hours too. It was a pain cause i had eggs in the incubator! I had to get a pot, fill it with warm water and let the deli up float in the warm water to keep the temps up. I was up till the power came on taking care of my eggs. I even watched a candle burn out lol.
