Almost a year has passed by....

Clay Valeri May 23, 2007 11:05 AM

...since their birth (actually less than 10 month). Now they are showing their true colours........and I bet it's a start of an adding game, like the mother did as a yearling on.
I guess it's a matter of taste, and I could be biased for, but I do really love RED and here are some of the reddest babies around!

Mom it's just your average het. Kahl albino, from the Ugly Duckling status fate has changed her into that fine erythristic example and the causing genes seems to be passed on.

We'll see soon again as she's ready to drop her cargo fathered by that knight below.

Sorry for the ton of pics, hope you like those anyway.

Clay

WOW Clay, she looks like she is on fire!! She's beautiful, and definitely not an ugly duckling - I guess I'm a sucker for red too! Good luck with the future litter.

Absolutely beautiful. Do you have young pics of her and pics as she aged showing the development of all that red?

Clay Valeri May 24, 2007 05:27 AM

Unfortunately don't. Lost the few pics I took of her back in those days within the old PC crash I had. She'd been nothing particular 'till half of her 2nd year. No wait, she was worse than "normal" looking, actually was the ugliest looking colombian baby I ever seen to date. But when she reached 18 months old, started to change drastically as you can see on the pics posted. Her babies from last season are doing that ontogenetic move way more early than mom.Let's see what come out of this.
Thanks for your interest, Clay
