Recommended Tub Size for Emoryi?

ScottKennedy May 23, 2007 11:12 AM

I have two female emory rat snakes that are quickly outgrowing their enclosure. I plan to get a male soon, so I want to upgrade from terrarium-type enclosures to a tub/rack system. I've been looking at a rack from Boaphile and one from Animal Plastics...both of which hold a Sterlite 32qt (23˝x17x6) tub.

Is this a reasonable size for an adult emory?

I also have a ball python, so any rack that could house both species (in separate tubs of course) would be a bonus.

Thanks!

I don't want to cause a ruckus, but should there be a sub-forum if it's not getting much traffic? Methinks I should have posted this in the general rat snake forum.
