My RES's shell is white looking and flakey and looks like it's thinning down to the bone!!! I'm so worried! I think it might be something bacterial but I'm not sure! Should I just buy a DR. TURTLE block and let it fizzle in there? What else can I do? Apply Betadine to it? Please help! Thanks so much.

Dr. Turtle isn`t going to cure any infection or whatever it is your turtle has. I second the vet. And make sure your turtle is basking under proper (UVB) lighting.
