my caimen lost the tip of its tail the other day. maybe about 3/4 of an inch of so. it is housed alone in a cage with nothing in it that could have caused this injury. i dont know how it happened, but the animal is fine. i am curious to know if caimens regenerate tail tips or if this is going to be a permanent injury. it really baffles me as to how this happened. i really have no idea what could have caused this. aside from this the caimen has been totally healthy for the 5 years i have had it. any thoughts would be appreciated
