I sometimes have to "think about" how old I am, I stopped keeping track as well, gravity has a strange effect on an aging man. By 60 I am sure I will be leaving two footprints and a "drag mark"

after 21 which was the legal age for alcohol in the horrible state of LA it is all down hill but I don't drink so what the hell. But I have often had to think of my age many of times cuz that is just not an everyday ? for me to answer anymore
Bob

FRoberts May 24, 2007 01:44 PM

One's too many and a thousand is NEVER enough. I developed an allergic reation to alcohol ( It was killing me literally ).

Good lord Frank. That's like being allergic to air or somethng. J/k, I don't embellish that much myself anymore. An occasional blackout on New Years, maybe a druken rant at a wedding here and there. I've really matured into my 30's.

FRoberts May 24, 2007 05:41 PM

misunderstood what I meant by "allergic", I am an Alcoholic in "good recovery" not the "David Hasselholf type of recovery" at the moment...Drank for like 7 years straight, every day now worries for itself, I do not miss it because the way I drank will surely kill you, and since that's the only way I know to drink, I have opted to lay off the stuff

My bad. I'm not very perceptive in face to face conversations. Cyber subtleties usually go way over my head.

So have you replaced euphoria in a bottle with herps? If so, you've made a great substitution?
-----
Mike Lockwood

FRoberts May 24, 2007 07:26 PM

In a way I guess, I have kept Herps since early childhood, but have to admit my husbandry practices have improved a lot since I stopped being "drunk" all the time, everythings always spotless and I dont wake up in 6 foot vision cages any more.

Yeah, I was just joking about the drinking. I rarely touch the stuff. Just too busy to devote time to being hungover. Now, about the two footprints and the drag mark?? Do I even want to go there?

There are plenty of female rainbowboa keepers (more than 1/2 of my customers are female). I think it has to do with the sparkle.....

Most of the time I feel like 19, sometimes 49.
Age is a state of mind.
