While it indeed looks "aztec-ish", I am skeptical to think its anything more than a normal with thick saddles and a slight aberrancy.

You never know with anything though and if Andy wishes to make the effort to breed a high end aztec to a probable normal, by all means, go ahead. I do think calling it a "possible aztec" could be a bit far fetched though. It is certainly true that "anything is possible", but it doesnt make it necessarily make it legitimate and rational to call it a "possible" in the boa world. Maybe im wrong, but from what I gather from the lingo from being in this hobby, "possibles" are generally from the known bloodline that carries the mutation. In other words, you dont market a normal boa with some aberrancy as a "possible jungle" just because you think it kind of looks like one. But that somewhat relates specificly to the business aspect of this hobby. In this instance, Andy is merely sharing a boa in a forum, he's not marketing it or anything. I personally wouldnt go around calling my animals possibles of other mutations unless they were from the bloodline or very clearly the same phenotype, but thats just me. I can understand the logic in both sides of this scenario.

Hello, I posted some pics in a previous post in this thread but I don't think people are seeing them. So I'm posting the pics again. For those who think Andy might have an Aztec I hate to give bad news but he doesn't. All Aztecs have a solid striped tail, including the original male. There are other more subtle characteristics that can be seen in the Aztec but I will leave that for another time. Andrew & Bob Potts

you have built up quite a support group here. I remember back in the day you could not claim something was a "possible" unless it came from that bloodline. It is a beautiful boa, but I think it is disrespectful to Andrew and his brother, and underminds their project.

And I know for a fact, that while I am not supported by any post's on this thread there are a lot of individuals that agree with the meaning of what I said.
