I don't know a heck of a lot about horned frogs, but your tank is deplorable. I couldn't imagine puting anything in there. Are you really going to put a Pacman there? With no substrate and an ashtray (without water) for a water dish? This must be a joke.

Kidding about my last post. OK, maybe if you add background on 3 sides, some plants, and put some water in the dish it might be OK.

I dont really see a problem with using the asjtray, ive stolen all of my mothers tupperwear lids for most of my cages. Does the trick for them, and thats all that matters. Ill repay her one day. Besides those bowls they sell in the petstore are expensive if you ask me. Depends on where you go. I think the little coco huts will do, but once he gets bigger i wouldnt expect to find them in there. They dont really hide under things like that, they just bury themselves in the dirt till you can only see their back and eyes sticking out. If you could get some like fake plants of somethign to put in there too, thatd be awesome. make it more realistic looking. thats what i go for in my tanks.(yeh i say that after telling you about my tupperwear dishes,ha ha!) But some like low to the gorund plants,or some pothos if you wanted to try live plants, they help keep the humidity up and need almost no maintenence. Pothos are awesome, theyll grow in water or dirt and almost never die. As long as you mist your cage, the pothos will thrive. But yeh, so let see. a light, a background for 3 sides, some dirt, some fake plants maybe? and your frog will be set. when you planning on getting the bugger?
