Here are a couple of quick ones.

This is a quick shot of the pair we are breeding this year. The male we have had forever (in front) and the female came from Dave @ rainbows-r-us. She is showing some pretty good scale seperation so Im probably going to seperate them this weekend and see what happens.

This is an 05 female holdback of ours, cant wait till she is ready to go!

And finally an 06 holdback female, she is obviously in deep shed but her crescents still pop.

Thanks for looking!

Very nice animals Chris. The crescents on the 1st holdback are on fire! Caramia's baby is smokin' too.

Has your female shed yet? We're trying to correlate post-ovulatory sheds with parturition dates. The new theory is that you'll have babies 105 - 110 days after the shed. Let us know if you see numbers like this.

Thanks for the kind words everybody!
Our first year breeding rainbows our girl gave birth to 31 babies 111 days after post ovulation shed.
The next year she gave birth to 17 babies 105 days after post ovulation shed. Seems to fall in line with your theory. So this girl should be the last week of August sometime, Darn West Coast women!(lol) I had babies in racks with a couple meals in them this time last year.

Per your post:

So this girl should be the last week of August sometime,

LOL, I have 10 females one of which I feel is not gravid, and one is out on loan, that leaves 8. Of those 8, 5 are also due in the last week August!! Let the floodgates open come the end of August!! Downside is I need to really slam away at mouse production starting late July in anticipation of dozens of baby snakes, many dozens I hope!!

Thanks for posting those numbers. It looks like we're really on to something with this post-ovulatory shed thing
