food size

jamster May 25, 2007 06:31 AM

i know a thread was started awhile ago about the size of a food a leo should be having, people think differntly, as i read they should be no longer than the lenght of there head, but others say the space between the eye's or half the space between the eye's etc etc etc. but i was wondering, would a leo not eat a cricket if it's too big for it? i mean my friends leo knacks the black crickets, and there at least the size of its head (or was until the leo got bigger) but he'd eat 3 in a row with no problem. but as i said, would the size of the food discourage the leo from eating them? my leo has been getting the same size crix since i got him so im not too sure..

any insight?

my adult gecko, refuses to eat the adult crickets, the one with wings things (sorry dunno what there name is) so she eats, ones that are (in england) called, 4 or 5 ... nearly adult ones, without the wing things..... ive just rambled there, sorry. i hope that helps....
