Lab Cages for Rats?

FireStorm May 25, 2007 07:35 AM

Currently I keep my rats in aquariums, but they're such a pain to clean. Would lab cages be a good alternative, or is there something else that's better? I know Vision sells the lab tubs now, but I'm not sure where to get the tops. I'll be going to Daytona this year. Will anyone be selling them there?

Thanks for the help,
Shelly

I've posted a link to my website with a DIY for rat racks. Might be useful for your purpose.

Thanks for the link. That looks like it might work for me, and it doesn't look too hard to build. I also liked the instructions for the CO2 chamber. I need to set one up, and I didn't know you could get 10lb tanks.

Thanks,
Shelly
