Here are the first two amphibians in question, Both found on the same county road less than 1/8 of a mile apart. There were several others but these two were the ones I got a shot of, the reddish one the only one like it. It was easily twice the size of the others seen. I would say it was about 1 1/2" long, although I didn't measure it. I certainly saw a yellow line running down the back of the first gray/brown frog, and there is an orange line running down the back of the reddish/brown colored frog. I have seen many great plains narrowmouths but never can get a decent pic. They have all had no pattern and were very similar gray/tan.
