Only snake seen all night was a dor thornscrub rat, P.g.meahlmorum.Here is a Rio Grande leopard frog that willingly posed for me...NOT! They leap clear off the road just as you are focused but before you snap the shot! This guy was freshly hit but drying out quick so I took the shot. A little further down the road I find either a half eaten version or one that got knocked plumb outta the park! Last series will be a few inverts out and about.
