Egg laying

Lepidus01 May 26, 2007 03:51 PM

I have a female western hognose that is currently laying eggs for me. This will be her first clutch and she seems to be doing fine. My question is this, she laid four eggs last night and looks to still need to lay one or two more. She has been in the nest box for two days now laying and I am getting a bit worried that she might be egg bound. If anyone has any suggestions on something that I can do to help her pass the last couple of eggs please let me know. Thanks

She is still in the next box trying to lay the last of her eggs. She has still not laid any more eggs since the 24th. I am a little worried that she might be egg bound. As I said before that this is her first clutch and the first clutch of hognose that I will have produced. IF anyone has any suggestions or just tell me that this is normal.
