Enclosure Set-Up Update

Alright Everyone!

I took the advice from miloradovich and got a sheet of plexi-glass to silicone on the current lid. i got my drill charging so i can drill some tiny holes in it for ventlation.

I also bought an 18Qt Sterilite container that im going to cut some holes in it. I got the new moss and the new bedding for the hide box =)

I also went ahead and bought some new substrate (which im not going to add until the lid is ready to go on). I bought Jungle Floor from Exo-Terra...hope i made a good choice with that???

Im only concerned about placement of everything. It gets to 70 here at my house at night when everyone goes to sleep so i dont kno if i should add her hide box to the warm side???

Here are my target temps and humidity :

Temps Day - mid 70's all around and a high of 85 on her hot side
Temps Night - low 70's???? all around and low 80's on her hot side????

Humidity - 75-80% would i need to mist the cage a little bit to keep the humidity just right? or will the enclosed tank help me keep all that?

once again thanks to all of u for ur help...i plan to have some pics up really soon with everything ive done...before and after

The enclosed tank should hold humidity. Rather than spending time spraying just pour some water on the substrate. Do be careful with temperature and the solid top. It will retain much of the heat that was escaping with the humidty through the screen top.

Make sure you keep the plexi top secured somehow too.. otherwise, you might be on a search and rescue mission
