Caramel question

If you breed a male caramel albino or a het male caramel albino to a normal albino female will you get albino offspring?? if so, would the albinos also be het caramel albino?

It's generally assumed that caramel and regular albino are incompatible mutations on separate genes. However, I'm not aware of anyone having put it to the test by directly crossing the two lines. Also, if they where compatible it would be one possible explanation of a case where one caramel line is known to throw regular albinos occasionally.

This question comes up from time to time and I thought I recently saw a reply that indicated someone was actually working on crossing caramel to regular albino this year so maybe we are close to getting the answer.

The original albinos are T-, and caramels are T , so I would think they would cancel each other out.
