I went out to smoke last night at like 1 o' clock and just glanced over and noticed this sitting there. I came inside and got the camera and he still hadn't moved so I snapped a few pics. I ended up getting within 2 feet of him and he never moved once. I live in the suburbs between Philadelphia and Wilmington, so it's nice to see at least some sort of cold blooded wildlife around here. Even if it is just a toad.
Like a ...what were you smoke'in dude....to want to post a picture of toad on the internet at 1AM????
I'm quite a snob when it comes to that if you know what I mean. And yeah, I guess you're right. You need some extra motivation and inspiration to photograph a common toad.

Yeah. I'm not an Amphibian guy though. Snakes are what get me excited.
I hear ya' but the weather has been very abnormal, I think June will be mid spring here in Texas! We almost have no spring weather-wise here in south Texas, so the phibs are on the menu now!

Sorry. I needed to make some room in my gallery and just got rid of these pics. I didn't even think about it reflecting in the post. It was a 2 inch american toad on top of a curb. Should have waited till after the post wasn't so new. My apologies for screwing it for anyone expecting something spectacular.
