Nice!! How many are hatching for you??
Jason
This is the first one to pip.
I cut all the others open as it's been 24 hours without another one going. They all are fine and look to be as nice as this one.
I'll post em' as they come out.
Cheers, I'm drinkin' a beer!!

Congrats Derek!
I love the pattern on that one especially toward the back third!
I got your message last week(?) But have been swamped with projects and work to do. Perhaps give me a call this week if you get the chance between catching baby Blackheads! I have some updates for you.
Again, mucho congrats! And I know I am very late (only what, 6 months?) but congrats on the book too! Maybe there's a signed copy for me somewhere? Just tell me where to send the check!
Take care and have fun as usual!

It's all good. Call me anytime.
I've got a book for ya as well.
D.
Is it a snake book?? Let the rest of us in.

Sorry....
It's a drum book.
I play a bit and am known thoughout the drumming community, been in a few bands, etc...
I got a publishing deal a few months ago and released a book on "Extreme Metal Drumming".
Never thought I'd author a drum book but I didn't think I'd actually hatch these eggs either!LOL.
D.
Here an updated picture of the first one.

And here's 2 more.

This one did absorb as much yolk. It came out just after pipping, where as the others sat for a couple of days.

More to come....
Cheers.

Hey Derek, you're holding that first one for me...right?
Beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Ha,
I'm so excited about these guys and gals.
Got more out tonight but did n't have time for shots. I'll get them up tomorrow.
Thanks everyone.

My congrats Derek. I've been following you around, LOL. I saw your post at MP and I'm looking forward to what 35 babies look like.

It's good to see you having a good year, especially after hearing about the crummy luck last year. You deserve it! Looking forward to more pics when you get them.
Thanks man, I was bummed last year.
Well, out of the 13 I had left in this clutch... I got 8.
A couple were under developed...looked liked they died a few weeks before pipping. I also had a couple that hatched but, did not live very long due to developement defects.
I have a feeling I do not have enough space in the incubator for these BIG eggs. Next year I will step it up with 18 cubic feet of space. HAHA.
Here are some of the others...Most of them are in shed in these pics. Will put some more up after the sheds.

Cheers.
D.
Can't wait to see more of these guys as they shed and get bigger!! They are nice looking already!! Some different looks in the clutch to make it a little more difficult for you to decide which to let go.
Jason
...in my opinion that more folks did not respond to such and awesome sight (your post). Absolutely fantastic looking snakes, Derek. Be proud... they are KILLER man! Nice stuff.
Matt
p.s. - Maybe just a lot of folks 'lurk'?!?!
