Excellent find Tim. Nine garters in an hour? That's outstanding. Eastern garters can be so variable. Interesting that the ones in NE Ohio tend to have that particular look. Here in central Va. we get everything from high contrast beauties with an outstanding dorsal stripe, to some butt ugly ones like this Henrico co. Va. Eastern I found on an Air Guard Base last fall.
