Sorry fellow herpers but all I could wrangle was this illegal alien, Hemidactylus turcicus, the Mediterranean gecko, or med gek for short. All the rain and cooler temps are keeping the snakes in, again only a dor scrub rat was seen in Refugio county. Last but not least, a nice invert, some kind of walking stick type insects. Hopefully in a few days the night time snakes will become more active, if it rains much more, all herps will be swimmin' across the highways! Again I wrote before I downloaded, pics in next post.
