Hi again.....

I think I posted here right before I set up my 55 gallon tank. Now I've got one subadult female crested living in it, and I'd like to know how many more I can add to the tank.

(Yes, I realize the cage is a little large for a single gecko. She has a different cage she eats crickets in and I have little bottle caps of CGD around the tank, which I've seen her eat out of.)

As long as she's finding her food ok and you don't mind having to clean out a big enclosure, there's nothing wrong with keeping one gecko in a big enclosure. That being said, I would bet, based on the fact that I have about a 20 gallon enclosure for my lone crested, and she seems happy enough in it, that you could reasonably add 2-3 more females to that 55, presuming there are lots of hide areas set up so they won't have to be on top of each other all the time.

hi, is this the emily from tracy? this is amber from sacramento.
you could put up to 4 more geckos in there with lots of foliage and hiding spots. just make sure all the geckos are the same size so they don't pick on each other or get stressed.
