how much do you think bolivian x peruvian red tails would be? i didnt see any in the classifieds. just wondering.

best answered with another question, I'll try to elaborate on where I believe Mr. Gilbert was headed. An amarali X Peruvian BCC is not a breeding you are likely to see. That breeding is not desireable by many people in the hobby. There is not an excess of either boa in the market, and full-blooded boas are snatched up quickly. Breeders working with amarali and Peruvians usually keep these lines pure and do not cross them with other boas. It is very unlikely that you will find that cross in the hobby. Peruvian BCC and amarali usually sell for $250 and up. The cross would most likely be priced in a similar range, but with little demand for such, this is not commonly done and has never been done to my knowledge. I am, however, not aware of every breeding that has been done.

thank you for your advice. i have a female bolivian and a male peruvian (among many other snakes) and i was talking to a friend of mine about trying to find a peruvian female and he said "well why dont you just breed the peruvian and the bolivian together." id never heard of the mix but id seen many suriname x columbian mixes going for $150-$250 so i went looking for any peruvian x bolivian mixes to see what they would look like and how much they would go for. i didnt see any. id rather have a female peruvian and male bolivian though.
