t-rex food question ?????

keith_ecko May 28, 2007 11:35 AM

I was wondering if anyone uses the DRAGON DUST ICB food by T-REX??? I thought there was a lil debate way back in 2004 about whether this stuff was any good or not. This was about the time I took a break from Beardies. If anyone has any info let me know because I bought some but and forgot about the debate going on in here so I want to wait till I use it! Thanks guys/gals....

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

ICB is the cricket dust? I haven't heard anything negative about the cricket dust/diet or whatever it was. The veggie dust there was some concern that it can cause impaction/dehydration if added excessively to greens. It does dry hard...as I always had a hard time washing it out of the food bowl when I used it on greens and I just sprinkled a bit on top of the greens instead of shaking/baking it onto greens as suggested by the bottle. However I didn't have any problems with impactions...but I misted my greens when I did use it, to ensure my dragon had alot of moisture when she ate her greens.

I haven't used it since as I found a varied diet with once or twice a week multi-vitamin dusted insects worked just as well.
