east and west Iran

bryanhamilton5 May 28, 2007 12:00 PM

I hunted east and west Iran there were thunderstorms all around me. I thought the snakes would be moving but all I saw was a atrox and a blacktail.I did meet the local sheriff he was kind enough to hold up my hunting for thirty minutes while he checked me out.he did apologize though and wished me luck.I have had worse done to me closer to the border.

Would that be the border w/ Iraq, Turkey, Afghanistan and Pakistan or some other Islamistan?

It's next to Toogoodtopassupistan. Hey Doug, I'll be out there in a few weeks, my turn to treat you and the missus to dinner.

Hey Bill,

No need to treat, but we will look forward to getting together for a meal. Just let us know.

geez doug, you should be treating all of us!!!

Jon, go back to packing your wife's things so they are ready to move to your future hilltop mansion home in AZ, which as you know, is being subsidized by the taxpayers of CA.

Just remember you started this and I remain jealous as I will continue to have to work and earn these huge Alpine wages for the duration.

Now get back to those boxes.

A few years ago, my son and I were out on the west Iraan cuts
and the sheriff stopped to see what we were up to......when he
could see we were not a threat of any kind (except to unsuspecting GBs) he talked our ears off, showed us his mag light and shined cuts with us for 30 minutes! I think we are still on his Christmas card list

I had a long night sorry I meant Iraan.

Gators always have to be a "smart ass"!!!!
How's the collecting going in Sunny Glen???

Doug Beckwith May 29, 2007 08:06 PM

True, because it sure beats the hell out of being the opposite.

I haven't done much looking around the canyon so far this season. It has been cool and rainy of late up here in northern Brewster. If gas gets much higher, I may have to stay in my own back yard so to speak. The one night Norm and I went to the Gap a couple of weeks ago, it cost $46 in gas and we only were down there until 11:30 or so and gas was about 12 cents cheaper then.
