We went out on a family herp trip today and things were really moving. We saw quite a few banded watersnakes, Some tiny southern toads, and a couple of red-eared sliders. I got wet going after a banded watersnake, so I decided to walk down a stream. It was about calf deep with some nice rocks and logs. I lifted up a rock and found both of these little Loggerhead musk turtles.

I had another interesting catch today, as you can see in the first picture, A baby nine-banded Armadillo. The second shows my herping family. Gotta give resect to my wife, 7 and a half months pregnant, and she still wants to come herping. The third is a nice little striped mud turtle. This summer is really cool so far. Makes you proud to be a herper. Untill the next time...Peace, TJ
