Mickey (the male I got from Jeff Clark) just shed and my wife brought him outside tonight. I took a couple of pics, and they seem to be better than my inside pics.

Very nice BRB.
I had similar photo problems at first trying to get the colors right. The saddles kept looking much more yellow then they were among other things.
The only way I know to get acurate digital pics is to take them outside in natural lighting. Or place the snake on something just below a large window with the sun shining through it.
Sean.
the previous post's pic was an accidental atatchment.
Since it's there though it is an example of placing the snake under/next to a window with alot of sunlight coming through. The picture is accurate as it got his saddle colors 100% and the contrast is right on but his background color is actually much more red then in the pic.
Only way I've gotten 100% accurate colors before is outside pics.
Sean.
Thanks for sharing and outside seems to get the colors real real close but having that uv light shining down makes for awesome rainbow pics sometimes
Bob
and beautiful animal, well you are either really odd ( with the painted nails and lady hands) or that's your woman holding that snake. oh yeah she brought it outside...

Mike,
..Thanks for posting the PIC. I always like to know that my babies are in good (and pretty too) hands.
