especially "biggerdigger". You were right. I've never dealt with back heat before and didn't think the placement of the probe would be any different than with belly heat.
Everything is working fine now. (THIS is why I didn't want to blame anyone... I just knew it would be some trivial thing that I did and didn't want to end up eating my words.)
