You have to take their word for it. There are no visual markers for het albino's. If you buy an animal from a reputable breeder, then your het should be true. You can ask questions like, "how did you produce it", and they should respond, "from breeding an albino to a normal", or, "from breeding an Albino to a het". If they say from a het to het breeding, and they are advertising a 100% het albino, you should know they are not all true 100% for het albino. Then you know this breeder is not genuine. Buy from people you know in the business, or buy from a breeder with a great track record. Dont be so quick to get a deal from someone who is just throwing snakes at you, and telling you what you want to hear, and giving you a deal you cant refuse. This is where some newbies get caught, and turned into suckers. Educate yourself on the person you are buying from, and ask other breeders what they know about them. I know when I made the transition from hobby to business I did alot of homework, and alot of networking at shows, with countless emails and telephone calls, before I was comfortable enough to trust the aniamls health, genetics, and well being from certain breeders. Now I know when I get something from them, I am certain on what it is. No questions asked! Just develop some relationships and put some faith in them, and you will be jsut fine! By the way, I have some het albinos this year if you want some. LOL
