Pics of adult type 2 anery

rtbconstrictors May 29, 2007 08:57 AM

I've seen a lot of small pics that can not be enlarged of a type 2 anery. If anyone has a larger pic or a link to a pic of a adult can you post it. Also whats the average size of the type 2 anerys. To me they appear similar to the mexican boas look wise. Any pics or input would be great. I have tried google but the pics were more of side shots and not top view pattern shots. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Here is a picture of one of my type II anerythristic sonoran desert boas. She is now almost 5 years old, close to 5ft and is currently gravid.

From that angle it looks like it could be. Although there are some b.c.i. that are sneaky...some look very anery but will have a slight pinkish tone on the cheeks, or a little flash of orange on the belly, and occasionally a few dark rusty-orange scales on the tail. If yours doesn't have any of those, then it most likely is a type 2.
