I've recently started noticing that my 7 y/o male corn is frequently passing urates that are not in a compact "pellet" as with my other snakes. Instead, it looks like he passed a lot of white chalky powder. I was told with tortoises this is a sign of dehydration. Is this the same with corn snakes, too? He always has access to a big bowl of fresh water, and drinks a great deal. Hot spot of the cage is not more than 86.
Is this normal? If not, is there anything I can do? He eats very well.
Thanks to anyone who can provide some insight.
