RedQuake Aug 15, 2003 11:08 PM

Hi all,
I don't know how many are affected by the power problems but i'm one of them. Don't know when i'll be back for good. We are still getting rolling blackouts. What really concerns me is how to keep my geckos Ok during all of this. i have power for now but i don't know if it'll last.

I'm not going to check the box for replies to be sent to my email as i don't know when i'll be able to access it again. BUT i would like toknow from anyone who has had this problem, what do you do for heating your geckos when the power goes out??? Luckily the weather is really really hot right now.

Anyways, i hope everyone else having the same trouble is doing OK
Take care
Red

I was affected by the power outages. I didn't worry about heating my animals, the weather was quite warm when the power went out, but just to make sure i filled some water bottles with warm watter and places them in my animals enclosures. You coudl try that. The only thing that had me on my toes about heating were the eggs in the incubator. I managed to keep them warm by placing the containers with the eggs in warm water. Hope this helps!

I think it's so cool you work hard for your babies like that.
