I have a bunch of pics to show of my first Cinnamon Pastel clutch ever. The last one left his egg this morning around 8:00. It took a full day for all 5 to come completely out. I ended up with 4 cinnies and 1 normal, as first expected. 2.0 cinnies, 0.2 cinnies, and 0.1 normal. The 2 males are the best looking, with awesome black backs. Which is exactly what I needed because I'm hoping to prove the mother's perfect black back pattern as simple recessive next season.
The father also had a black back pattern of his own, so it can't be scontributed completely to the mother. I think she had nothing to do with it, and her secrets lie deeper than co-dominance
These are BHB line and pretty much my most anticipated clutch of the season. I have 4 more clutches to go. The next one won't be hatching until mid-July, but this one is the special one. Anyway, just for some background, here are the mother, father, and father breeding the female who laid the next clutch set to hatch.
